Four years ago, Frankie Bridge never expected to be part of reality TV. Her dance career in the British pop act the Saturdays had given her bragging rights, but she was nothing like an in-demand guest at parties and at glamorous brunches.
Then in 2015, Bridge was thrust into the spotlight after she appeared on the talent show Strictly Come Dancing. But it wasn’t until her time on I’m a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here! in 2016 that she realized she was more than just a dancer. “That was the first time people didn’t just think of me as a singer,” she said.
Bridge, 32, is famous for her multi-million-selling, girl-group hit “Love Me For A Reason.” She will become a full-time mum to her first child with her husband, footballer Wayne Bridge, in the spring. But the reality star’s experience on I’m a Celebrity helped Bridge realize she wanted a career outside of the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle she’d enjoyed as part of the hotly-anticipated ITV show.
