The Black Friday deals that already exist

This morning, the American shopping season officially began with a bang, as online and brick-and-mortar stores opened at 6 p.m. Pacific and 7 p.m. Eastern. In the time since, we’ve covered a slew of Black Friday deals in retail news. On the retailer side, we’ve heard about nearly 80 percent of people looking forward to finding online deals and 60 percent prepared to spend more than last year.

We’ve also seen a few notable third-party retailers hint that they will open on Thanksgiving, which presents different options for shopping on the final day of the holiday shopping weekend. Amazon, Walmart and Macy’s are all getting ready to offer their customers sales on what’s becoming a traditional Black Friday, while offshoot retailers like Bed Bath & Beyond, P.F. Chang’s and Williams Sonoma are making Black Friday a two-day affair, giving their customers even more to shop this season.

However, as the season progresses, there will likely be shifting deals as retailers find ways to exploit the opportunities of Thanksgiving. By Black Friday, we’ll already have the major deals from the major retailers (and the infamous Black Friday “cramming event” from Best Buy), but as the season progresses, deals might come out earlier and closer together. So to get an idea of the massive amount of Black Friday deals already out there, check out our roundup of the best deals so far.
