Margot Robbie isn't the only one who's been accused of lying

Margot Robbie says she wasn’t crying over Cara Delevingne in those paparazzi photos, ‘they’re just my pictures’

Margot Robbie is in full-on Oscar mode, with her first three movies winning best picture and her fourth, the Hollywood adaptation of the musical Miss Evers’ Boys, earning a nod for costume design and make-up. Her career seems to be on the up, and it comes at the perfect time — she’s 27 years old and has been living in Los Angeles for three years.

However, the star has taken great pains to ensure the world doesn’t believe it. She’s gone as far as to set up a Twitter account with the innocuous name @BlessedToBeMargo that was set up in 2009 to share “the blessings of being Margot Robbie,” and a Facebook page set up in 2013 that has since been removed.

She’s also been accused of lying before. After the Academy announced its nominations Friday, a number of actors and filmmakers said they believed Robbie was under the impression that she’d been nominated for a “Best Supporting Actress Oscar,” but she told THR that they were “lying.”

“It’s a great shame they would do that to me,” she said. “I don’t even know who they are, but [they’re] taking me out of context. It was a big misunderstanding, I’ve been completely honest with them about it. I don’t want to go into detail about
