These maps show Toronto’s current COVID-19 hot spots are not where you think.

The city has more than 2,500 confirmed cases and over 130 hospitalizations, two confirmed deaths—including a Toronto woman reportedly infected by her partner—and the list of potential coronavirus hotspots continues to grow.

While the global pandemic is far from being officially over, as of Sunday, March 31, the United States is now reporting its single fatality from COVID-19, according to a Washington Post report.

The Globe and Mail reported Sunday that the U.S. death toll had now reached four and that the number of confirmed cases in the country “may have surpassed 100,000.”

The Toronto Health Unit, which tracks COVID-19 cases, has updated its hot spot maps on its website to include updated information.

Below is a map showing the most recent cases in Toronto, with other places impacted throughout the world.
